Wind Mill Pylon - Energy transformation of urban landscape is a project of transformation of an electrical pylon into a wind mill. This project was made in order to be realised in a specific space in Villeurbanne, France.
In a public space, a pylon which has lost its use would not be destroyed but conserved as memory of centralised energy production, showing an exemple of local green energy production by adding a savonius type wind mill into the structure. The energy produced would be used to light the space around and also by the inhabitants living around to create cultural and social events. The pylon is also transformed to give a stage that allows getting a better view of the natural environnement in the city.
